About Brockville Pride:
Brockville Pride was formed in 2010 as a walk to raise awareness of a recent suicide of a 2SLGBTQIA+ person within the community. This painful loss echoed a larger issue within the community, which was the continued acceptance of homophobia and lack of support for those in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
To address this need, Brockville Pride has grown from a walk to a board that provides ongoing education, advocacy, and programming which includes pride parades, drag shows, fundraisers, educational speakers, and community events making it the leading resource for 2SLGBTQIA+ persons in the area.
