Brockville – Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Brockville, Leeds-Grenville, Smiths Falls, and Lanark.
Significant rainfall is expected for tonight and Friday with local rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres. Amounts could locally exceed 50 millimetres in areas with thunderstorms.
Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and ponding on roads. Localized flooding is possible in low-lying areas. Rain is expected to taper off Friday evening.
