Athens – The Athens Aeros lost in overtime 4-3 to the Arnprior Packers in EOJHL action Tuesday night at Centre 76.
The Aeros scored two goals in the first from Evan Cory and Andy Botting.
Arnprior would score two goals in the second and one more goal for the Aeros by Jules Facchini in the second to take the lead for Athens.
In the third, the Packers would tie it up 3-3 on the lone goal of the period and send it to overtime.
Sean Ireland would score the winning goal in overtime for Arnprior.
The Aeros travel to Renfew to face the Timberwolves on Sunday night. Game time is 7:00 pm.
