Snow Squall Warning for Gananoque – Mallorytown!
Brockville – Lots of snow today. Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for Brockville, Prescott-South Grenville, Merriockville-Wolford, Kempville-North Grenville, Westport-Rideau Lakes and the Charleston Lake region for today.
A Snow Squall Warning has been issued for the Gananoque and Mallorytoen regions for today.
Lake effect snow will continue today before moving south of the area this evening. In addition, southwesterly winds gusting up to 70 km/h will accompany these snow squalls, particularly near the shores of Lake Ontario resulting in significantly reduced visibility in blowing snow.
Significantly reduced visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow with additional snowfall accumulations of 5 to 10 cm.

For Gananoque – Mallorytown, lake effect snow squalls will continue today before moving south of the area this evening with additional snowfall accumulations of 10 to 15 cm and winds from the southwest gusting up to 80 km/h.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
