
Brockville – On April 29, 2025, at about 6:45 pm, Brockville Police received information regarding a male and a 31-year-old female at the Superstore on Parkedale Ave.
It was advised that the female had merchandise concealed in her bag, which she did not attempt to pay for. When she was approached by the Loss Prevention Officer regarding the merchandise, she was originally cooperative and turned over the items she had stolen. Once she learned police were notified, she fled on foot with another male.
Officers quickly responded to the area and located the two individuals in question nearby. The female subject was arrested for theft, and it was discovered that she also had a bench warrant for failing to attend court.
She was charged with theft under $5,000.00, escape from lawful custody, two counts of failure to comply with probation and held for a bail hearing.
