Prescott – The South Grenville Senior Rangers lost 2-6 to the South Stormont Mustangs in Game 2 of the EOSHL quarterfinals in Prescott on Sunday.
South Grenville got on the board first from a goal by Michael Carbino in the first period. Assists went to Broydon Stufko and Greg Gibson.
The Mustangs would also pick up a goal from Storm Adams (Isaac Barr) in the first.
In the second period, South Stormont would pick up 5 more on goals by Zachary Poirier (Jonathan Jasper), Brendan Jacome (Storm Adams, Jonathan Jasper), Duncan Campbell (Isaac Barr), Zachary Poirier (Jonathan Jasper) and Isaac Barr (Storm Adams).
The Senior Rangers scored their second goal of the game in the second period from Devon Burns (Broydon Stufko).
Game 3 of the series is set for this Saturday starting at 6:30 pm in Long Sault.
The series is tied at 1-1.
