Brockville Police Give Update on Drowning at Centeen Park

Brockville – City Police have confirmed that the decesead man from the drowning on Monday was 39-year-old, Jeffrey Greer, of Brockville.

Police, Brockville Fire and Leeds Grenville EMS responded around 6:30 am on Monday, April 1st to Centeen Park after reports of a person in distress in the St. Lawrence River.

They said he fell into the frigid water while walking along the barrier wall along the park’s water front. Police want to remind the public that this incident remains a Coroner’s investigation and foul play is not suspected.

Police also ask that the public give the family privacy at this time.
