
Brockville – Thousand Islands Secondary School (TISS) will be hosting the 2025 EOSSAA Track & Field Championships this Thursday and Friday in the city.
Everything gets underway at 2:30 pm on Thursday with the Junior Girls’ Pole Vault and the 200m heats.
During the afternoon on Thursday will be Para Shot Put, Pole Vaulting in field events and the 200m heats, 300mH (30”) TIMED SECTIONS, 400mH (30”) TIMED SECTIONS, 300mH (33”) TIMED SECTIONS, 400mH (36”) TIMED SECTIONS, 1500m TIMED SECTIONS and the 200m finals in track.
Thursday will wrap up with the 200m final starting at 6:25 pm.
On Friday, the Opening Ceremonies will take place at 9:10 am, followed by Girls Novice Long Jump, Junior Triple Jump and Senior High Jump and Boys Novice Shot Put/Pole Vault, Junior Discuss Throw, and the Javelin Throw all start at 9:30 am.
Friday’s track events begin at 9:15 am with the Open Boys and Open Girls 2000m steeplechase final.
Closing ceremonies will begin at 5:35 pm.
