Prescott – The 13th annual TD Canada Trust Women’s Hockey Tournament in Support of Girls Inc. of Upper Canada is set for this Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre in Prescott.
There will be 12 teams competing in three pools. In the Strong Pool are the Wilcats, Gators, Chicks with Sticks, and She Hulks. In the Smart Pool are the Cahos, Cluster Pucks, Play Therapy and the Has Beens. In the Bold Pool are Fedorki, Mustangs, TD Canada Trust and the Ice Crushers.
Everything gets underway on Friday afternoon at 4:00 pm with game 1 between Chaos and the Cluster Pucks. Games 1 to 6 will be played from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday.
Saturday the tourney resumes at 8:00 am and continues until 10:00 pm. The first final is at 8:00 am and the second final is at 9:00 pm.
