Power Outage Affecting Over 5,000 Customers in Augusta, Prescott & Edwardsburgh-Cardinal

Prescott – A power outage affected close to 5,203 residents in Augusta Township, Edwardsburgh-Cardinal and the Town of Prescott this morning.

Hydro One states on its outage map that the cause is under investigation and the estimated time as of 10:30 am this morning for restoration is 1:00 pm this afternoon.

In Prescott, Rideau-St. Lawrence Power says they are investigating as well, but since it is a widespread outage it could be a Hydro One issue.

As of 10:42 am power has been restored for over 3,000 customers. Power is still out for 1,779 customers many in Augusta Township.
