Brockville – The film production crew were starting to set up on Saturday morning on Court House Ave. in the city.
Brockville is about to be transformed into a wintery wonderland for an upcoming film production for Netflix, with a tentative title of ‘Love at Frost Site’.
Court House Ave. east and west from Court House Square and King Street is closed to traffic for the production from now to May 11th. Filming is expected to start this Wednesday.
The city has stated that businesses within the area are still open and accessible by foot. Deliveries and staff vehicles of those businesses will be granted access.
Inside the Keystorm Pub is being used for parts of the filming.
On Friday, MOVE 104.9’s Bruce Wylie spoke with Eric McCallister, the location manager for the production with some more information on the film production below.
McCallister could not name the actors involved at this time.
The production company is also seeking residents from Brockville to fill various background roles in the film. They are looking for individuals of all ages, ethnicities and abilities to apply.
“Role Notes: Townsfolk, Regular & Ice Sculptor roles are required for almost all shooting days. Driver role requires you to have your own car to bring. Please Note: Performers from Ottawa are welcome to apply but will need to arrange your own transportation to Brockville for filming. ”

There will also be parking restrictions on Pine Street between Court House Square and Garden Street. That parking will be used for film crew parking. As well those sections of Pine Street are down to one way.
There is also no parking on George Street and the Court House Bus Stop has been moved to George Street for the duration. Wall Street is still open to traffic from Pine to Pearl and William Street is still open from Pearl to George.
