Intimate Partner Violence Leads to Arrest

Brockville – On May 10, 2025, at about 11:45 pm, Brockville Police received a 911 call regarding a dispute between a couple at a residence on Front Avenue.

The couple was engaged in an argument, and the 25-year-old male had been consuming alcohol throughout the evening. The argument was escalating and resulted in the subject shoving his wife.

When officers arrested the subject, he dropped to the floor and attempted to kick the officers. He was charged with assault and assault of a peace officer and held for a bail hearing.
