
Prescott – Prescott is hosting several events for this year’s Canada Day celebrations on Monday, July 1st.
The Prescott Canada Day Parade starts at 10:30 am from Kelly’s Beach, then heads east along King Street and ends at Fort Wellington.
Walking and non-motorized vehicles can only enter the parade. There will be prizes for the best Canada Day spirit, costumes, entries and more.
Events at Fort Wellington from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm include Cannon Firing (24-pounder!), Canada Day Cupcakes and Drinks, family-friendly activities and Free Admission to Fort Wellington all day long.
Canada Day at the Prescott Pop-Ups from 9 am – 10 pm. Canine Watersports Canada – Make a Splash on Canada Day from 9 am – 3:30 pm., Pop-ups and Vendor Market, Live Music and Demos from 12 pm to 9 pm.
The day will wrap up with fireworks at dusk.
