
Brockville – On June 15, 2023, at approximately 3:45 pm, police received a report regarding a 51-year-old female, currently on probation, who was causing a disturbance. The complainants were parked in their vehicle on King Street West near the RBC when the subject began yelling, spitting on their vehicle, and threatening harm to both the complainant and their child.
Officers located the subject nearby and placed her under arrest. Following the investigation, she was released at approximately 6:15 pm with a future court date.
She was charged with the following offences:
- Uttering threats
- Mischief under $5,000
- Two counts of failing to comply with probation
Later that evening, around 7:00 pm, police received multiple 911 calls reporting a disturbance at the Proxi Gas Station at Stewart Boulevard and Parkedale Avenue. It was reported that the same 51-year-old female, recently released from custody, was now involved in a physical altercation with several individuals.
The investigation revealed that the subject entered the store and, while paying for multiple items, unexpectedly walked behind the counter and struck an employee in the face. She then exited the store, grabbed a bag of camping firewood, and began swinging it, striking the store wall and challenging staff to a fight. When another employee attempted to de-escalate the situation, the subject assaulted them as well.
Upon police arrival, the subject attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended.
She was held for a bail hearing and charged with the following additional offences:
- Two counts of assault
- Resisting arrest
- Uttering threats
- Criminal harassment
- Two counts of failing to comply with probation
