Brockville – The Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce held its 65th Awards of Excellence Gala on Thursday night at the Brockville Country Club.
Honoured last night were, Presidents Award recipient, Bruce Wylie,
Business Person of the Year Samia O’Day,
Young Professional, Christopher Dang
Citizen of the Year, Barry Moss.
As well, five awards were given out for Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Community Excellence, Tourism Award and the Ben Tekamp Memorial Award.
Business of the Year was awarded to Kehoe Marine Construction:
Finalists were – May Court Thrift Shop, Kehoe Marine and Amstead Design Build
Small Business of the Year went to Sunset Grill:
The finalists were Harbour Social Co., Sunset Grill, Tory Deschamps Hair Studio
Community Excellence Award – Sue Watts:
Finalists were St. Lawrence Psychotherapy & Wellness, Cycling Without Age and Sue Watts.
Tourism Award went to the Brockville Arts Centre:
The finalists were Rockport Boat Line, Brockville Arts Centre and the Aquatarium.
Ben Tekamp Memorial Award went to Sweet Ofelia Cafe & Market:
The finalists were Care & Co., Harbour Social Co. and Sweet Ofelia Cafe & Market.
