
Brockville – Leeds-Grenville Interval House (LGIH) is hosting its 2nd annual Festival of Trees starting this Friday, November 29th and running until Sunday, December 1st in Brockville.
It runs from 4:00 pm on Friday until noon on Sunday at 130 N. Augusta Road in Brockville.
Come and view the beautifully decorated trees and purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win them.
Funds raised will go to Leeds and Grenville Interval House which provides emergency shelter, outreach counselling and transitional support for abused women and their children throughout the Leeds & Grenville area.
They offer accommodation, counselling and a 24-hour crisis and support line for women in distress and offer support in the following areas:
• a 24-hour Crisis and Support Line
• short-term residential shelters for women and their children
• transitional and outreach services for women
• child witness program
• group programs
All of their services are confidential and offered free of charge.
