
Westport – The Westport Rideaus won a 5-2 decision over the North Dundas Rockets in NCJHL action on Friday night in Westport.
North Dundas got on the scoreboard first with a goal from Will Colborne in the first period. Jack Leonard with an assist from Matthew Leaver scored Westport’s first goal in the first period.
The Rideaus’ Josh Price (Reagan Donnelly, Matthew Ullmann) would score the lone goal in the second period for a 2-1 lead.
In the third period, Rylan Boyer (Lukas Hannah) would score one more along with Eric Judson (Nolan Campbell, Ben Peladeau) scoring two goals for the Rideaus.
North Dundas would score one more in the third but it was not enough.
Westport will host the South Grenville Jr. Rangers this Friday night starting at 7:30 pm.
