Brockville – On January 26, 2025, at about 1:45 am, police received a report of a single motor vehicle collision, in the area of Windsor Dr. and Centennial Rd. Information was that the vehicle had left the roadway and struck a pole.
Officers arrived and identified the driver to be a 21-year-old, female. No injuries were reported in the incident. A roadside breath sample was taken, which, resulted in a failure.
The driver was arrested and taken to the Brockville Police Service for further testing. That testing confirmed the driver was impaired.
As a result, the driver’s licence was suspended, and the vehicle was impounded and charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80mg. The driver was released with a future court date.
