Brockville – On January 25, 2025, at about 11:45 pm, police received a call to report an altercation that had taken place, in the area of King St. W. between two subjects.
Investigation revealed that two males were observed meeting in the area of King St. W. and John St. They had a conversation that escalated. The 26-year-old, male attacked the other male, striking his head and stealing his cell phone before fleeing. The victim was taken to the Brockville General Hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 26-year-old, subject was located and arrested in the nearby area. He was held in custody for a bail hearing, after being charged with robbery, assault causing bodily harm, and three counts
of failing to comply with probation.
