Green Party Candidate Confirmed!
Brockville – Five candidates have now been officially confirmed by Elections Canada for the seat in Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands–Rideau Lakes riding for the April 28th Federal Election.
On Wednesday morning, the candidate’s list was officially issued.
When we reported two days ago, there were only four confirmed.
Incumbent, Michael Barrett, is again running for the Conservative Party of Canada, Lorna Jean Edmonds is running for the Liberal Party of Canada, Paul Lancione is running for the New Democratic Party, Hailey Simpson is the candidate for the People’s Party of Canada, and Randi Ramdeen is running for the Green Party.
These are the five now confirmed candidates running.

Randi Ramdeen is a dedicated advocate for responsible governance, environmental stewardship, and a strong, resilient economy. Born and raised in Prescott, she attended school in Brockville and has deep roots in Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands–Rideau Lakes. With experience in public service, she has proudly represented the Green Party at both the federal and provincial levels, working to build a better future for all Canadians.
I am voting for Lorna Jean Edmonds for MP for Leeds-Grenville-1000 Islands-Rideau Lakes because I want a representative who is accomplished academiclly, experienced in public leadership, and who knows our community.
