
Brockville – On April 10, 2025, at around 10:15 pm, officers from the Brockville Police Service were on patrol in the area of King Street West.
While there, they observed a 43-year-old man, known to have a warrant for his arrest for two counts of failing to comply with probation.
Once the man noticed the police, he fled on foot, jumping fences in an attempt to avoid arrest. Officers gave chase and eventually caught the suspect on the property of a residence nearby.
The man was held in custody for a bail hearing in relation to the charges of failing to comply with probation, and he was additionally charged with resisting arrest. No one was injured in the occurrence.
