Brockville – The Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s (MTO) rehabilitation work on Highway 401/Stewart Blvd and ramps begins today, Monday, May 26th.
The project being carried out by Bellai Alliance Civil (BAC) also includes paving work on highway ramps and adjacent city streets. To complete this work, BAC will implement traffic control measures on both Highway 401 and the affected city streets. Completion is expected by October 2, 2026.

Temporary ramp closures will be in place as needed to perform the work. Detour signage will be installed on the highway and the city streets.
Project Schedule:
2025: Paving of streets and ramps, as well as rehabilitation of the Stewart Blvd structure, are scheduled for completion.
