Elgin – The annual Elgin Days is being held this weekend, July 10th and Sunday, July 13th in the village.
On Thursday, there will be a Yard Sale at Guthrie House from 9 am to 3 pm, then Bingo at the Lions Hall at 6:45 pm and then Sound Bath Meditation at the Community Hall at 7:15 pm.
Friday will see a free coffee club breakfast from 9 am to 11 am at the community hall, a Yard Sale at Guthrie House from 9 am to 3 pm, Yuk Yuks Comedy at the Lions Hall from 7 pm to 9:30 pm, Disco Roller-skating at the Elgin Rink from 5 pm to 10 pm and 4-hand euchre at the community hall starting at 7 pm.
Saturday is the big day with a full schedule of events and activities through out the day, including; yard sales throughout the village, Pancake breakfast, a bake sale, Stealing the Bloom Barnyard Zoo, a silent auction, Corn Hole, free bouncy castles, a BBQ, OPP K-9 demonstrations, a Chicken BBQ, the Elgin Days Parade and more.
Line musical entertainment will include, The Rock Dunder Rebels, Line Dancing & Clogging, Evan & Ron, The Wildflower Trio and Wright & Lowe.
