
Prescott – The Town of Prescott was proud to celebrate the remarkable career of Deputy Fire Chief Robert Gilmour, who retires after an incredible 40 years of volunteer service with the Prescott Fire Department.
A heartfelt Retirement Celebration was held on Tuesday, July 8th, to recognize his unwavering commitment, leadership, and decades of service to our community.
The evening also honoured long service milestones for several dedicated members of the department:
- John Houston – 30 years of volunteer service
- Bob Dixon – 30 years of volunteer service
- Renny Rayner – 35 years of fire service
Members of Prescott Council, MP Michael Barrett, MPP Steve Clark, Ontario Office of the Fire Marshal were in attendance to offer their congratulations and appreciation to these local heroes.
