
Brockville – The Brockville and Area Food Bank is hosting a special clinic to help individuals acquire government IDs and access the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).
The clinic will be held on the second floor of the food bank’s location at 58 Buell St. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. No appointment is needed.
Key services offered at the clinic:
- Assistance with obtaining or replacing government IDs such as OHIP cards and birth certificates.
- Support for applying for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).
- Guidance with navigating other government services.
- On-site support from Service Canada and Rideau Community Health Services.
For those intending to apply for the Canadian Dental Care Plan, the following information will be needed:
- Social Insurance Number (SIN) and your spouse’s/partner’s (if applicable).
- Date of birth.
- Full name and mailing address.
- Details of any existing government dental coverage
