Brockville – The Brockville Police Youth in Policing Initiative (YIPI) are hosting a Summer BBQ at the South end entrance of the Brockville Railway Tunnel this Thursday, August 14th, in support of the United Way of Leeds & Grenville.
“Our summer YIPI students have been hard at work and invite you to join us this Thursday, August 1,4 from 1 to 4 pm at the Brockville Railway Tunnel for a fun-filled BBQ in support of United Way, right before Movies in the Park,” said Brockville Police in a Facebook post.
There will be hot dogs, hamburgers, and a small raffle draw — all for a great cause.
Brockville Police would like to extend a special thank you to their sponsors, Brockville Hyundai and Starbucks, for making this event possible.
“We’re so grateful to the Brockville Police YIPI students for choosing to support United Way with this fun community BBQ. You’re making a real difference!” said the United Way of Leeds & Grenville.
After the BBQ, stay for the final Brockville Police Movies in the Park featuring Lilo & Stitch!
