Athens – The 10th annual Athens Truck Show is being held this Friday and Saturday, August 22nd and 23rd, at G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction in Athens Township.
Hosted by the Antique Truck Club of America – Upper Canada Chapter, the event runs from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm on Friday and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday at 109 Washburn Road, Athens, the home of G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction.
There will be trucks of all sizes, vintage to new, original to modified.
Live music from 8th Line from 5:30 to 9:00 pm on Friday and again on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
The event is free to spectators, and a minimal fee for truck registrants and those looking for dry camping.
Donations to the Athens Food Bank are welcome and appreciated.
Looking forward to the show tomorrow. I watch Miss Flatbed Red’s YoutTube videos. I also messaged Dane Scott of Dane Scott’s Trucker’s Lounge about it. What food options are there, eg BBQ, etc and when are they serving until? Is the show going on tomorrow evening? I’m coming from north Toronto. I thought of taking the VIA train to Kingston or Smith’s Falls and renting a car to go along Hwy 15. I’ll probably come in my own car there.
That was a great show this year as always…thanks to Charlie, George and the Tackaberry family for hosting !! Looking forward to next year.
