
Brockville – The 32nd Annual Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament raised a record $400,000 on Wednesday, August 27th at the Brockville Country Club.
The funds raised go to the outreach services for the palliative care services at Brockville General Hospital.
Two hundred and seventy-two golfers participated in this year’s tournament.
“Words cannot express our deepest gratitude to everyone who sponsored, participated, volunteered or supported the Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament in any way. Thanks to your combined generosity, we raised an incredible $400,000 in support of the Palliative Care Outreach Program at Brockville General Hospital,” said the Palliative Care Golf Tournament organizers on their Facebook page on Thursday.
“The organizing committee is forever grateful to all of our Friends – Thank you for helping make a difference.”
