
Brockville – Brockville Police say an apparent overdose of a thirty-four-year-old woman on Sunday, September 14th, that led to her death, has not been deemed suspicious.
Police say around 5:00 pm on Sunday, they responded to a 911 call of an apparent overdose on the Brock Trail between Park Street and Brock Street.
Once there, officers learned that the woman had been transported by paramedics to the Brockville General Hospital. Despite life-saving measures, the woman was later pronounced deceased, according to police.
Members of the Brockville Police Service are assisting in the death investigation being led and conducted by the Office of the Chief Coroner.
