
Mallorytown – The Township of Front of Yonge’s Celebration of Agriculture, Agri-culture, Beyond the Business of Farming, Taste of Leeds is being held this Saturday, October 5th, at the Mallorytown Legion.
It runs from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm, and it is free. There is a charge for the BBQ lunch. The family event will feature activities and educational elements for kids and adults alike. Learn where your food comes from and the farm families behind every plate, and discover the rich history and culture of farming and how they keep it alive.
There will be pony rides, 4H kids and their farm animals, Face painting, Milk Maple the Cow, a kids’ farm crafts table, a petting zoo, farm safety demonstrations, educational booths, outdoor games, pumpkin painting, local vendors and live music.
Go early and have breakfast at the Legion breakfast from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. There is a cost for breakfast.
