Grenville OPP Issued Public Advisory on Thursday in North Grenville After Call About Mischief Around the Kemptville Campus

Kemptville – The Grenville OPP detachment received a call about mischief in progress at the Kemptville Campus area of North Grenville before 4:30 am on Thursday.

OPP say they were provided a description of a suspect and conducted a search, with assistance from the OPP East Region Emergency Response Team members and the OPP Canine Unit, with the search leading officers into the Town of Kemptville.

The OPP issued a public advisory as there was a large police presence for the search. Police said there was no threat to public safety at any time.

Thanks to public assistance, the OPP located the suspect on County Road 19 and safely taken into custody.

OPP say the investigation is still ongoing and more information will be released when available.
