Special Weather Statement: Additional Rainfall Amounts Possible in Our Region

Brockville – Additional rainfall possible. The ground, already near saturation, has a limited capacity to absorb this rainfall.

Rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm. Locally higher amounts possible. Later tonight through Thursday.

Additional showers and thunderstorms are possible through Thursday. Portions of the region have received significant rainfall amounts over the last few days. As a result, any further rainfall could have significant impacts. Rainfall warnings may be issued for some regions.

Rainfall amounts will likely be highly variable across the region.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Don’t drive through flooded roadways. Avoid low-lying areas.
