At 3:09 PM EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location:
From Lancaster to Lansdowne

Motion: Moving to the northeast at 50 km/h

Hazards:
Wind: damaging (90 km/h)
Risk of tornadoes.

Locations in the Path:
Iroquois, Prescott, Cornwall, Lyn, Brockville

Local utility outages are likely. There is a risk of injury.

Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
