
Brockville – Canadian Tire Brockville is hosting an Emergency Services Appreciation Night on Saturday, June 20th from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m..
The annual event is a wonderful opportunity to recognize and thank the dedicated men and women who serve and have served our community as first responders, military personnel, and emergency service professionals. Their commitment, courage, and sacrifice help keep our communities safe every day.
This will be a private event and the store will be closed to all other shoppers between 6:30pm and 10:30pm.
The night will be open to Police, Fire, Ambulance/Paramedic, Military, CBSA, Coast Guard, Conservation Officers, Correctional Officers and medical personnel and their immediate family. Both past and present serving responders are welcome to attend. Please bring some form of identification confirming your status as a first responder.
The event is supported by the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 96 in Brockville who encourage their members to join them in supporting this worthwhile event, which not only honours those who serve but also raises funds for Jumpstart Charity, helping local children participate in sports and recreation.
It will be an evening of food, refreshments and activities, along with special discounts for attendees and fundraising for the Jumpstart charity.
Rob Williams the owner of both Brockville and Prescott Canadian Tire stores is a former first responder with over 20 years of service.
