
Gananoque – The annual 1000 Islands Family Ribfest hosted by the Rotary Club of Gananoque and Gananoque Lions Club is being held this weekend, June 26th to 28th behind the Lou Jeffries Arena located at 600 King Street.
Come out to celebrate summer in the 1000 Islands with fantastic food, great entertainment, and lots of family fun.
The smallest community to host Ribfest in Canada welcomes over 8,000 visitors every year. The Rotary & Lions Clubs of Gananoque give 100 percent of proceeds back to the community. They support charities, families and students and lead projects that positively change Gananoque and the 1000 Islands area.
This year the three ribbers are, Jack the Ribber, Oak 87 and Route 55 BBQ. There will also be food trucks including Beavertails, Always Time for Lemonade, FreshLane Eats & Drinks, Who Cut the Cheese, Donkey Kone and Drink Ontario Apples.

There will also be a Kids Zone, the Ollin Drum Circle – Nahuatl song, drumming & dance on Friday, the ROTARY ARTS & CRAFT SHOW on Saturday and Sunday, a Line Dance Party, Cornhole Competition, Ducky Drop by Helicopter, both on Saturday.
Rynestone Edgy Magician on Saturday, Ukulele Jam Party on Sunday and the Up in Smoke BBQ Raffle draw also on Sunday.
