
Brockville – The 24th annual Brockville Ribfest is back this year from August 7th to 9th at Hardy Park in Brockville.
The region’s most beloved summer tradition introduces a new chapter of community impact as the event now proudly supports the local Boys and Girls Club (BGC South East) for the first time.

“Brockville Ribfest has always been about celebrating community, tradition, and summer in our region,” says Bev Heuving, Director of Programs & Evaluation at BGC South East. “This year, we are especially proud to have the event support BGC South East and the new programs in STEM and mentorship they are bringing to children and youth in Leeds & Grenville.”
This year’s Ribfest will feature six ribbers, Silver Bullet Bar-B-Q, Ribs Royal, Billy Bones BBQ, Dinosaur Smokehouse, Jack The Ribber and Crabby’s BBQ Shack.
As well, there will be a Kids Zone, a Vendor Village, Food Booths, and a Beer Garden.
The popular Rib Eating Contest is back start at 6:00pm on Friday, August 7th, the Brockville Hyundai Beach Volleyball Tournament starts at 8:30am on Saturday, the Cops & Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday starts at 9:00am, the Arm Wrestling Competition on Saturday starts at 11:00 am and the Ribfest Idol Competition begins at 5:00 pm on Saturday.

Sunday will see the Fairytale Loft Meet and Greet from 11:00am to 1:00pm, C&M Ranch Pony Rides from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

Brockville Ribfest is also looking for volunteers to help out:
- Event Setup/Teardown
- Canteen – cook or sell hotdogs, prepare corn and sell drinks
- Parking – monitor parking lot/barricades
- Beer Tent – must have smart serve
- Kids Zone – monitor bounce houses and games
- Table/Site Cleaning
“Community support is what makes this event possible year after year. Together, we’re not only continuing a 24-year tradition — we’re also helping build stronger futures for local youth,” Heuving adds.
