Two Men Arrested Following Traffic Stop and Wanted Person Investigation

Brockville – A coordinated effort between the OPP and the Brockville Police Service resulted in the arrest of two men on multiple charges.

On July 26, 2026, the OPP contacted Brockville Police advising they had grounds to arrest a 30-year-old, male, in relation to a variety of charges including criminal harassment, bail violations and others.

The accused was believed to be in the Brockville area. Officers subsequently located a vehicle associated with the subject at the Quickie convenience store on William Street. Police located the subject in the rear seat of the vehicle and placed him under arrest without incident.

During the investigation, officers discovered that the driver of the vehicle, a 31-year-old, male, was in possession of open alcohol within the vehicle. A roadside breath sample was obtained using an Approved Screening Device, which resulted in a “Fail” reading. The driver was arrested for impaired driving offences and transported to the Brockville Police Service for further testing.

Subsequent testing confirmed that the driver was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol. He was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg. In addition, the driver received an immediate driver’s licence suspension.

The 30-year-old, male was turned over to the OPP regarding their investigation. T

The 31-year-old, driver was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear before court on a future date.
