Brockville – The Repeat Offender Parole and Enforcement Unit (ROPE) and OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) assisted by Brockville Police executed an arrest warrant on Wednesday, August 12th at Glen Wood Place in Brockville.
Police say a forty two year-old Brockville man was arrested around 10:30am this morning who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault and other weapons related offences.
A temporary road closure was implemented by members of the Brockville Police Service as a precautionary safety measure to facilitate the execution of the arrest warrant.
Police say the man remains in custody, and will appear in bail court later this afternoon.
