Children’s Mental Health of Leeds & Grenville & Union Arrive at Agreement Bringing Staff Back to Work

Brockville – Children’s Mental Health of Leeds & Grenville (CMHLG) and the union that represents staff at the agency have come to an agreement, with staff returning to work on Thursday, August 13th.

The CMLG stated that they are now beginning the process of resuming services for children, youth and families across Leeds and Grenville.

“We know the recent labour dispute has been a difficult and uncertain time for many families, staff, referral sources and community partners. Our focus now is on reconnecting with families in a clear, compassionate and organized way,” said the CMHLG.

They say that services are beginning to resume in stages and CMHLG is confirming wait list information, identifying appointment needs and coordinating staff schedules and that families may be contacted quickly, while others may take more time as service details are confirmed.

CMHLG also stated that new referrals are not yet being accepted.
