The Thousand Islands Watershed Land Trust is Again – Overwhelmed with Gratitude!

August 15th Fundraiser Raises Over $100,000 for Keystone Connections Project!

Athens – On Saturday August 15 our local community, from Ottawa to Brockville to Athens to Mallorytown to Gananoque to Kingston, came out in full support and generously donated over $100,000! Not only through their ticket purchases for the event itself, but at our Auction For Acres!

Funds raised will go a long way towards supporting our Keystone Connections Project, which consists of 9 conservation properties throughout the Frontenac Arch/Thousand Islands Watershed, all aimed at connecting existing conservation nexuses in our area.

We cannot even begin to adequately thank supporters. You have spoken up, shared your desire for these areas to be conserved, and put your action behind it!
We also wish to send enormous THANK YOUs to River City Junction, Triola, and chef Dan Thompson of the Keystorm Pub, for the wonderful music and delicious food.

Party goers were up dancing, and there were many compliments on a wonderful meal!
