Client services to resume following agreement with OPSEU Local 441

Brockville – Lanark Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health (LLGAMH) is pleased to share that an agreement has been reached with OPSEU Local 441, bringing the union’s strike to an end.
Staff will return to work on August 24, 2026. The first week back will focus on reconnecting as a team and preparing to restart client services in a phased approach the week of August 31, 2026. Community members and service providers may continue to send referrals as needed, with the understanding that programs and services will take time to return to full capacity.
“The last several months have been incredibly difficult for our organization, clients, and the broader community,” said Kim Gifford, CEO of LLGAMH. “We are grateful for the patience and understanding of our clients, partners, and community throughout this period, and we are focused on supporting a thoughtful restart to our full complement of services.”
During this transition period, LLGAMH has resources in place to continue supporting clients in group homes and treatment homes, including the HART Hub. Housing support for current clients and the most vulnerable members of the community will continue, along with certain psychiatry and psychotherapy supports. Brief Services will remain available, and Therapeutic Justice programming will continue in a modified format.
To access Brief Services, individuals can call 613-341-2476 and leave a message with their name, phone number, and a brief description of the support they need. No referral or appointment is required. A team member will connect with individuals as soon as possible and prioritize urgent concerns.
For individuals experiencing a crisis, please call the Crisis Line at 9-8-8 or Emergency Services at 9-1-1.
