
Brockville – On August 19, 2026, at approximately 3:30am, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling on Abbott Street. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer observed three occupants, including a 37-year-old female driver and two 40-year-old male passengers.
During the interaction, the officer noted open liquor within the vehicle. As a result, a search was conducted pursuant to the Liquor Licence and Control Act.
During the search, officers located a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, a quantity of cash, two digital scales, numerous unused dime baggies commonly associated with drug packaging, and more than 10 cellular phones.
As a result of the investigation, all three occupants were arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. The three accused people were released on conditions and are scheduled for a future date.
