
Augusta/Edwardsburgh-Cardinal – The United Counties of Leeds & Grenville is reconstructing County Road 21 from approximately 5.8 kilometres between the eastern limit of Roebuck to Spencerville (civic #2806), within the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal and Augusta Township.
The expected start date is August 24, 2026 with an expected demobilization date of November 2026. *Timeline is subject to change.
Construction activities shall include, but are not limited to, single-lane closures; replacement of deteriorated corrugated steel pipe (CSP) cross culverts; replacement of select entranceway culverts; pulverization of the existing asphalt surface; grading operations; paving of two (2) lifts of new hot mix asphalt; guiderail upgrades; and select ditch cleanout.
During this period, residents may experience occasional noise, increased truck traffic, and lane reductions with flagging operations. Traffic flow is expected to be minimally impacted. We are committed to minimizing inconvenience and ensuring the work is completed efficiently and safely.
