King St. East at Bartholomew St. Closed to Through Traffic Aug. 31 to Sept. 3

Brockville – As part of the Bartholomew Street Reconstruction Project, King Street East will be closed to through traffic at Bartholomew Street from August 31 to September 3, 2026.

This closure will allow crews to complete storm and sanitary main tie-in work. A detour route will be in place.

• Westbound traffic will be directed north on North Augusta Road, west on Pearl Street East, south on Park Street, and back to King Street East.
• Eastbound traffic will be directed north on Park Street, east on Pearl Street East, south on North Augusta Road, and back to King Street East.

To help accommodate traffic movements through the detour route, temporary parking restrictions will be in effect on:

• The south side of Pearl Street East from Park Street to Orchard Street
• Both sides of Park Street from Pearl Street to James Street
• Both sides of Park Street from King Street to Pine Street
• The north side of King Street East at Park Street

Motorists should expect delays, allow extra travel time, follow posted signage, and consider alternate routes where possible.
