Death in Spencerville Ruled a Homicide, OPP Identify Victim

Spencerville – Grenville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have ruled the suspicious death in Spencerville as a homicide.

OPP announced on Tuesday that the person whose body was found in a home in Spencerville on Saturday was 37-year-old Chelsea Swinwood.

Swinwood had had been reported missing after last being seen on August 22 in nearby Prescott, said the OPP.

OPP said that they believe Swinwood’s death to be an isolated incident with no signs of a broader threat.

No suspects or arrests have been announced said the OPP, and people in Spencerville can expect to see police investigating there.
