
Augusta Township – The Township of Augusta say that Upper Canada Road Services Inc. will be undertaking crack sealing work on Highway 401 between Maitland and Prescott, in both the eastbound and westbound directions, on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation (MTO).
They say that work is anticipated to begin September 9 and continue for approximately 22 working days, with completion anticipated by October 15.
The schedule is subject to weather, site conditions, and operational requirements.
Motorists may experience temporary lane closures, reduced speeds, delays, and changes to normal traffic patterns. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place to maintain safe passage and minimize impacts to the travelling public.
Access will be maintained at all times, and emergency services will not be impacted.

Highway 401 – Eastbound:
• Monday: 12:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
• Tuesday–Thursday: 12:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
• Friday: 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
• Saturday: 12:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
• Sunday: 12:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
Highway 401 – Westbound
• Monday: 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
• Tuesday–Thursday: 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
• Friday: 12:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
• Saturday: 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
• Sunday: 12:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.–11:59 p.m.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and follow all posted signage and traffic control measures when travelling through the work area.
