Kemptville 73’s Downed Ottawa Jr. Sens 5-2 in Their First Game of the CCHL Pre-season on Sunday

Kemptville – The Kemptville 73’s downed the Ottawa Junior Senators 5-2 in their first 2026 CCHL pre-season game held on Sunday in Kemptville.

The 73’s outshot the Jr. Sens 30 to 26 during the game.

Brody Clookey (Dickey, Downey) and Carter Scott (Dickey) (on a powerplay) each scored one goal in the first period. Ottawa would pick up one goal.

Thomas Dickey (Downey, Henderson) would score the lone goal in the second period to give Kemptville a 3-1 lead at the end of the period.

In the third period, Brady Graham (Gannon, Melo) and Ryan Coughlan (Dickey, O’Neill) (PP) would each score a goal for the 73’s. Ottawa would score one more goal in the third, but it was not enough to win the game.
