171st Spencerville Fair Begins Tonight, Runs Until Sunday

Spencerville – The 171st Spencerville Fair is set ti begin tonight, (Thursday, September 10) and continue until Sunday, September 13th at the Spencerville Fairgrounds.

Gates open at 4:00pm this afternoon with admission being a monetary donation to the South Grenville Food Bank.

There will be the Rockville-Tribeck Inflatables, a poultry show, Antique and Antique Tractor Showcase, Leeds County Draft Hourse Club, a Market Place, Craft and Artisans, Robertson Amusements midway and the Opening Ceremonies starting at 7:00pm.

Friday will see, 4-H Club Shows, Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull, Truck Pulls, Pony & Horse Show, Pet Show, Extreme Dogs Stunt Show, The Saint Lawrence Swordfighters Guild, the Royalty Show – Little Sir, Little Miss, Junior Ambassador
& Ambassador Competitions and more.

Friday night’s live entertainment features opening act, lower Road, Mark Mulligan and the headliner, Hells Bells.

Saturday will see, Michael the Magician, Baby Show, Dan the One Man Band, Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull, Antique Tractor Pulls, Jersey Cattle Show, Grenville Milk Producers, Chainsaw Carver – Tom Stefan, Petting Zoo & Pony Rides, Heavy & Light Horse Show and more.

The Fair Parade is set to begin at 11:00am on Saturday with the theme of ‘Harvest The Fun’.

Live entertainment on Saturday are, Amanda Keeley from 11:00am to 5:00pm, Opening Act – Ty Wilson followed by Mark Mulligan and then the headliner, Tim & The Glory Boys from 8:00pm to 1:00am.

On the last day on Sunday, there will be a Western Gaming Show – EXPO, Purebred Beef Cattle Show, Power Wheels Demolition Derby, Demolition Derby, Dairy Goat Show, Western Gaming Show and more.

There will also be a special Snowbird Performance starting at noon on Sunday. This year will be the last time the Snowbirds perform before they retire for a few years until new jets are operational.

Admission is a free will monetary donation to the South Grenville Food Bank on Thursday. Friday admission is Adults $15 with children 12 and under free. Saturday and Sunday’s admission is $15 for adults, Children 6-12 $5.00 and Children 5 and under Free.
