Brockville – The Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce’s Awards of Excellence Gala was held last Thursday night, September 17th at the Brockville Country Club.

Those honoured at this year’s gala were, Wajahat Khaleeque as business Person of the Year, Sheena Earl as Young Professional of the Year, Terry Wills as Citizen of the Year and the President’s Award was awarded to Dane Fellows.
The Business of the Year was awarded to Canadian Tire Brockville, Small Business of the Year went to The Butcher Shop, the Tourism Award went to Downtown Brockville BIA, and the Community Excellence Award went to the Brockville Rowing Club.
The Ben Tekamp Memorial Award went to the Anthophile Cafe.
