Brockville – Another successful St. Lawrence Writers’ Festival, the second annual was held from September 10th to 13th in Brockville.
Held mainly at Arts Hub Brockville, the festival featured over 40 authors from across Canada and locally.

It featured a number of events, with various authors covering many genres, including writing and illustrating a children’s picture book, a local author panel, poetry, a ‘Romance on the River’ cruise, and many more.
Events included, ‘Meet The Grin Reaper’, ‘Ain’t No Mansplaining Here’, ‘In a Land Called Romantasy’, ‘From Manuscript to Marketplace: Getting Published in Canada’, ‘ Word Shakers & Story Makers’, and ‘Blast from the Past’.
The festival wrapped up on the Sunday with the book launch, The Great Catsby by Hilton from local author Rod Carley.
It featured Rod Carley and Heidi von Palleske writer, actor and owner of Smart House Books in conversation with Terry Fallis and of course Hilton the Cat.
